Drug testing is conducted per USAPL DCO protocols. The number of lifters tested is set by the "Number of Lifters to be Tested" table in the USAPL In-Meet Drug Testing Instructions. All open American Records set at this meet will be tested and count toward the total. Lifters are notified after they finish lifting; refusal to test, failure to show after notification, or leaving the venue to avoid notification are drug test failures. Any lifter who wants to leave before the end of the awards ceremony must check with the drug testing official(s) first.

Miscellaneous info and reminders

  • Deadlift socks required. Socks must cover the entire shin.
  • Bar-dumping is an automatic ejection. Control the bar all the way down.
  • One-minute attempt selection. Attempts must be submitted in kilograms within one minute of your previous attempt. Default behaviors apply if you miss the window.
  • USAPL waiver required. All lifters, loaders, spotters, platform workers, and referees must sign the USAPL JotForm waiver.
  • Coaches and handlers. All coaches and handlers must hold an active USAPL membership or sign the USAPL waiver to access the warm-up area.
  • Active USAPL membership required. Memberships are verified one month before the meet.
